Love is one of the highest emotional states you can experience. It stands to reason then, that feeling and expressing love can attract circumstances that correspond with higher vibrations – including prosperity!
There are different kinds of love, but all of them have the ability to lift your mood and heighten your ability to attract the things you want.
It doesn't matter whether you are experiencing the heady rush of brand new romantic love, the tender and protective love of a parent for his or her child, or the warm connection you feel with friends – love is love!
The problem is that most of us don't CHOOSE to feel and express love most of the time – except on rare occasions.
Most of the time we're focused on other things: we’ve got responsibilities and obligations, duties to attend to, errands to run, and more. Who has time to focus on love?
The good news is that it won't take a bit of extra time for you focus on love throughout the normal course of your daily activities!
Remember that love is simply an emotional state; you can focus on it as easily as you focus on boredom or stress. The trick is to keep choosing it over and over again, as often as you can.
Here are some simple ideas for doing so:
Love everything you do.
Instead of feeling aggravated about chores, work duties or other obligations, try flowing a feeling of love toward them.
Think about the reasons why they should be done and what the finished outcome will contribute to your life. For example, if you're doing work around the house, imagine the ways these chores contribute to the health and happiness of your family.
If you're attending to work responsibilities, think about the professional satisfaction you get from a job well done. This mental shift may take practice if you're used to feeling angry or resentful about these activities, but keep at it and eventually you'll feel a shift.
Love everyone around you.
This also may take some practice, especially with people who get on your nerves. However, make an effort to feel loving toward the people you encounter each day. If you have to, engage in some self-talk to make the process easier. Say things like, "He's really not so bad,"” or "I'm sure she doesn't mean to be overbearing." Eventually you'll be able to trigger feelings of love simply by choosing to.
Love your financial situation.
Most important of all – love the money you do have and everything about your financial situation! If your financial situation is in dire condition, you may need to take firm steps to turn it around before you can truly love it.
You may need to consolidate your debt, reduce unnecessary spending, set a budget, and eliminate financial drains. Do whatever you have to do to ease the resentment or frustration you have about your finances – and replace it with love.
If you struggle to call up loving feelings, try starting with simple appreciation. Think about the reasons why you appreciate the activities, people and situations in your life. You may have to work at it to come up with some believable things to appreciate, but once you do your feelings of love will flow much more easily.
