Below, I will share with you, a few more ways to strengthen that brain of yours…
Sing Your Mind Stronger
Did you know that singing exercises the brain? If you are trying to come up with a solution to a problem, sing it to figure it out. Singing activates a different part of your brain than talking does, this means when you start singing through problems, you are exercising the opposite side of the brain! You could discover some very interesting solutions for your problems this way.
Solve Puzzles
Finding solutions to some mind-bending puzzles will exercise your mind for sure. Piecing a jigsaw puzzle together is an enjoyable way to pass the time, but did you know it works the brain in a way different from the usual tasks do? Buy a new jigsaw puzzle from time to time and enjoy piecing it together to exercise your brain.
Other puzzles to try are the Sudoku, word searches and crosswords. These are all effective methods for increasing the effectiveness of your thinking; they are fun to do too! Through working your brain in such manner, you will see improvement in your mental abilities which will increase your productivity and overall satisfaction. Doesn’t that sound good to you?
Develop a Positive State of Mind
An important way of exercising your brain is by developing a positive state of mind. All of us think negatively sometimes, which can keep us from doing the things that we need to. Replace any negative thinking with positive thinking by using motivational quotes, inspirational wallpapers or positive affirmations to rewrite your old beliefs. Simply repeat them to yourself off and on all day.
You can also print out your favorite ones and attach them to the bathroom mirror, computer screen, and refrigerator or anywhere else you will see them easily. The more positive thinking you do, the healthier your mind will be and this will help your whole body be healthier as well.
Give your brain a workout today… it can most definitely be life changing for you!
